Dress & Curriculum
Dress
Play clothes and tennis shoes are appropriate dress for preschoolers. Clothes should be comfortable and easy to negotiate for toileting needs. For safety reasons, we ask that children not wear slick-soled shoes, thongs or boots.

Curriculum
We provide a strong pre-kindergarten program that prepares each child in math, reading, writing readiness, listening, following directions and learning good work habits through self control. Reading readiness is enhanced by Zoo-Phonics, a kinesthetic, whole body approach to learning the alphabet and its sounds. School readiness skills provide a firm base for learning.
Motor development is an important part of our program. It provides experiences for the children to use their large muscles in a variety of creative and rhythmic movements, body awareness, balance, locomotion skills and coordination. "Skills are not taught - they are developed. We can not train a child to develop."
